Malicious AI applications, particularly deepfakes, raise significant concerns for law enforcement, with 98% of participants believing criminals will exploit AI.Less than 40% of organizations have implemented tools to detect or prevent malicious AI use, highlighting the need for increased research and training in cybersecurity expertise.

Insights on Ethical AI Implementation - Regional Perspective

Responsible AI use in law enforcement requires balancing legal and ethical concerns, with 66% of participants reporting an absence of institutional guidelines. The AI Forum advocates for training, research, and skills development to ensure transparency, accountability, and privacy safeguards.
